As we were looking and analysing some of the images of America in the west I wanted to find a website which would help reinforce these thoughts. I came across this useful site about Ansel Adams. It is called the Ansel Adam Gallery and shows us a lot of his work. The quality of the images is great and we get the opportunity to see how beautiful his artwork is. We also see an informative biography about him as it tracks his professional career.

This site is really helpful espeacially the biograpghy information on Ansel Adams. i found that by understanding the artist's background you can determine more uses and meaning from his images. This biography informs of Adams passion for the wilderness and the environment, therefore gives understanding to why he would show human presence in the beautiful wilderness as a negative fact as it helps to fight his cause to protect his own passion.
