I came across a great website about the Monroe Doctrine for this week’s blog. It had a detailed description about what exactly the Doctrine was and how it changed America. We also get an interesting summary of events which were affected by the Doctrine, for example, the situation with Central and Latin American and the Soviet Union.
It has an image of the written document and you can zoom in to see what James Monroe actually wrote.
